Happy Friday Beauties! Are you excited for another weekend?
Once Friday rolls around I use it as an excuse to indulge in junk food! I have a massive sweet tooth, probably why I had so many cavities growing up and now try to limit my consumption to less frequently.
This week was really stressful and I’ve reached for way too many sugary items. Whenever I had the chance I was eating something sweet; didn’t help I suggested pizza, brownies, and chips on Monday night for dinner. As I write this and look around on my desk I have two bags of chocolate snacks and a few bars or chocolate beside me. I tend to just keep them on hand for cravings but this week I swear I’ve eaten everything in sight.
Do you ever have those moments or weeks as well?
These list of items below are my go to treats and I have a very difficult time saying no to them. Mentally my mindset is to not have treats during working hours and save them for nights. During the day sugar spikes my energy followed by a crash by the time I’m going home. Weekends are fair game! Noticed I will also go out of my way to pick these up if I’ve had a rough day or frankly a little bored.
: A few years ago I was introduced to coconut milk based ice creams and fell in love with it. Add a magic sauce
with two ingredients and there is no turning back. Now it’s easier to find non- dairy options in a wide selection of flavours. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and anything Mocha/Coffee I’m sold!
: Embarrassed to say I have absolutely consumed an entire pan of brownies on my own! This is a no judgment zone! I’ve also made Black Bean Brownies
Chocolate covered Almonds: Continually trying to convince myself these are healthy. Especially if covered in dark chocolate.
Chewy cookies: Those soft cookies which melt in your mouth and are still warm! Ahhh give me some now please!
Peanut Butter with Chocolate: These flavours combined are divine!
