Nashville Guide

Happy Travel Tuesday! Over the September day long weekend last year a few friends and myself crossed the border to visit Nashville, the capital of Tennessee. Rich in country music history and a lively entertainment spot, Nashville was one hot spot!

We stayed in the Courtyard by Marriott Nashville Downtown and found this was close to everywhere we wanted to go. Only troubles we had were finding our way back from the Grand Ole Opry because none of us had data on our phones to call for a taxi or Uber.

Some of my favourite places we went to were:

Grand Ole Opry: Where Country Music started.

Honky Tonk: Listen to live music and have fun dancing! This is an iconic spot.

Puckett’s Restaurant: Delicious food!

Printers Alley

Ryman Auditorium

Bridgestone Arena

Country Music Hall of Fame

Parthenon & Centennial Park: We rented bikes on our last day and did a quick tour. Lovely but don’t forget the sunscreen!

We covered everything on our list in three days! It was perfect for us and even managed to get in some dancing at the Honky Tonk!
