Hi everyone, thinking of starting a new series called Wardrobe Wednesdays, thoughts? Drew inspiration for Honey We’re Home, love her series.
Let’s start with talking about dressing in layers! Adding layers to your outfits allows to mix and match colours, prints, and textures. Also keeps you comfortable if you get too hot or cold. Here are some pictures from an outfit last year in Fall when I went on a wine tour with the bestie.
For shirts I like to layer t-shirts and button downs quite a lot. Then wear a long necklace or scarf depending on the season.
Other ways to change up an outfit is with belts or jackets. A shirt can be worn multiple ways depending on where you add a belt. As I’m quite short (4’11” to be exact) I find thinner belts tied at my waist are best for flowy shirts. Similarly with form fitting shirts I’ll add a belt to my pants when possible.
Why are some of your tips for adding layers?
