Overnight Oats

Breakfast is the most important meal and it’s one of my first thoughts every morning. We know getting out the door on time isn’t an easy task, so Overnight Oats are a perfect solution to a healthy breakfast on the go. Taking under five minutes to prepare the night before, you’ll save time in the morning!

Overnight Oats: Base Ingredients

1/3 cup oats

1/3 – ½ cup milk or non-dairy substitute

1/3 cup yogurt (any kind)

1 tbsp chia seeds

1/3 cup of fresh fruit

Pinch of Salt

Pinch of cinnamon

 

Directions:

Combine all base ingredients in a bowl, jar, or container to sit overnight in the fridge.

In the morning top with nuts/nut butters, spreads, seeds, fruit, or enjoy as is. The possibilities are endless!

Tip: Most nearly empty containers of nut butters or spreads are a perfect dish to utilize for combining base ingredients and using up every last bite.
